About SelfHost Sizer

SelfHost Sizer helps you pick self-hosted software and size a server for it. It is an independent, small site.

Where the numbers come from

• App requirements are copied from each project's official documentation or official compose files, and every figure links to its source.
• VPS plan specs and prices are copied from providers' public pricing pages, excluding VAT, with promotional and renewal prices labelled.
• Directory data (names, descriptions, licenses, stars, dates) comes from awesome-selfhosted-data under CC BY-SA 3.0.
• Pages show the date they were last checked (currently October 2026).

What we don't do

• We don't publish benchmarks or “we tested” claims unless we actually ran and documented the test.
• We don't rank providers by commission. Tables are ordered by provider and plan size.

How the site is funded

Some provider links are, or may become, affiliate or referral links. See the affiliate disclosure. Project maintainers can submit a tool or ask about sponsorship.
